Answer: Yes, the residential streets had a flood level up to the compound wall height of the local houses in Kallikuppam. But the reason was not the inflow from the Puzhal lake. The local people say that the water was not able to make its way to the lake as there were no proper drainage channels to the lake. Hence, there was an impact of the flood on certain localities, by damaging their household items, food supplies,etc.,
