The Book Discussion program for the book "Prabanjan Padaippulagam" written by the Author Magaranthan got held at Sahitya Akademi on 14/06/2018 evening at 5.30 p.m.
The Book was appraised by Mr. Durai Seenisami who is a retired professor from Thanjavur Tamil University.
The discussion program appraised the book, which in turn is itself is an appreciation of some of the notable works of the prominent Tamil Writer Thiru. Prabanjan.
The function also had Thiru Azhagiya Singer of Virutcham Magazine and many prominent writers.
The Book got released through Sahitya Akademi. Mr.Magaranthan shared his experience of publishing his book through Sahitya Akademi. He also expressed his gratitude to Sahitya Akademi for publishing his work.
He also gave an information that the original manuscript was of length 600 pages. The Manuscript got edited and converted to a book of 250 pages.
Some of the other writers also spoke on their views towards Mr. Prabanjan. An authenticated information was that Author Prabanjan got recently honoured by the Tamil nadu government with a cash award of Rs.10 lakhs.
Hence, the authors expressed their happiness that he was given a right recognition.
